Bletchley Park director,
Bletchley Park

Dear Mr/ Ms,

I am writing in response to your advert that you sent me by email on 27th March. It would be an honour for me to work at Bletchley Park as a code-breaker.

I am an 18-year-old girl who is currently finishing her second high school studies with the aim of studying economics in English next year at university.
I think that I am a totally suitable person for this job, since I have a good command of 4 languages (English, French, Spanish and Catalan) and I have a big ease at learning new ones.
On the other hand I am skillful at techs and enigmas, that is why I know that decoding codes would be the perfect work for me, and furthermore,I am a person with a lot of patience and secretive, so save a secret like this would not become any problem for me.

In addition to the above, I am a hard working, reliable person and I take my responsibilities very seriously.

I hope you will consider my application favourably. I would be delighted to make any meeting to solve any doubt that you have.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours faithfully,

Laia Contreras.
Are love-locks romantic or a menace?

Love-locks are a fad that many people follow. We can see these padlocks hanging from many bridges, as in the river Seine of Paris. But this trend, however romantic it may seem, can also be partly dangerous.

On the one hand, some people might say that it is a harmless display of love. An act performed by couples to show their love and make a promise to each other: they can never be separated. Love-locks are becoming a beautiful tradition for all those lovers, who every year they meet together to reinforce their relationship with this act.

On the other hand, others might argue that these love-locks destroy the city's charm and its natural essence, turning the landscape into an iron chaos. Although they reaffirm their discontent by saying that it can be dangerous, since the railing of a bridge can be broken by the weight of the padlocks and hurt someone, and furthermore, the changing of the railing is an economic expense for the city. The most serious problem is that its weight can make the bridge collapse.

In conclusion, I believe that love-locks are a beautiful tradition, which should continue to be done but with adequate safety measures to avoid any accident that could happen.

IS MEAT IRREPLACEABLE?

IS MEAT IRREPLACEABLE?

In an effort to combat climate change, we've decided to reduce or eliminate the consumption of meat. We think that the best solution is finding  abalance between the abuse and the elimination of the consumption of meat.

We don't want to abuse of the meat consumption because different studies prove that an abuse of it isn't sustainable, and it can cause embiromental and health problems.
Meat is important for our healt as the iron fount in it is much more easily absorbed by the human body and also the vitamin B12 is only found in the animal protein. Moreover, eating meat helps human's brain to develop correctly, it also hels many families in thei livelihood.

To diminish this abuse of the meat consumption there are some pills that can give you those proteins of meat that are very important and we can't eliminate of our diet, like that you can obtain those proteins without eating so much meat.

Due to that we think thet the balance is possible, and that with this solution we're gonna keep our good health and also is going to help to preserve the animals and the planet situation.

PARIS

Paris is the capital of France, situated in the North of the country, with the river Sena crossing the city down the middle. Its charm attracts thousands of tourists every year.

Paris is most famous for one of the most important amusement parks in Europe, Disneyland. Another tourist trap is the Eiffel tower, wich views in the top of it are breathtaking. There are a lot of vendors trying to sell you souvenirs and you can bargain with them and get a cheap price.

Rotterdam

ROTTERDAM

Rotterdam is an important port city in the Netherlands. It's situated in the province of South Holland, at the mouth of the Nievwe Maas channel leading into the North Sea. It's strong point is its architecture, with innovation as a central point and ever-changing urban silhouette.

Rotterdam has an incredible variety of fun things to do for visitors of all ages. Sailing through the port, visiting attractions, admiring the architecture, looking at art, shopping, a night on the town.If you're searching for something to do through the city, like going shopping or visiting some tipical architecture of the city, you can visit the Markthal. There's an indoor market hall in various world-class cities but the combination with luxury housing makes Rotterdam’s Markthal the first of its kind. The apartments are arched over the food market in a horseshoe configuration. The main hall houses the market itself, as well as shops and various restaurants, with a supermarket and a four-storey car park situated below. You can walk through the famous Erasmusbrug bridge, that connects the northen and the southern parts of Rotterdam, or take a boat trip through the Nieuwe Maas River.

Rotterdam is a must-see city with lots of attractions, monuments and architectural highlights to look out for. It is a good option to visit in the Netherlands, and know its traditions, in stead of visiting Amsterdam.
